The winter solstice marks the longest night and the shortest day. It is the beginning of a colder season and yet, days will grow longer, bringing in more light into our lives. For millennia, in all parts of the world, people have gathered around fires in the dark of the night to connect, to reflect, and to listen to their inner light a little more closely.

Within the darkness arising, within the lights and the shadows playing, within the moon and the stars dancing in the night sky, a certain magic reveals itself. Under the interactive guidance of Maïté, Founder of the Institute for Integrative Mindfulness and Movement, let the Winter Solstice be a mini-retreat of self-care and nourishment to:

  • Rest with a blend of secular mind-body and mindful-awareness practices for mental, physical, emotional health
  • Reflect with time for personal exploration to set intentions, let go, gain clarity
  • Restore with breathwork to support, cleanse, nourish the immune system 
  • Renew with a celebration of new beginnings

To register, follow any of these steps. Please register at the latest 60 minutes before class so the registration can be processed.

2) Venmo: @imminstitute  with the amount for the class, your name, email, and name of the class so we can email you the class link.
3) Email:   in advance of class with your contact information and the name of the class you’d like to register for.
Details to join the session online will be sent within the hour prior to the scheduled class-time.
